Nihonbashi LLC is a company in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, Japan. We sell Japanese products on Amazon.com through Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), and we run a training program for Japan-based sellers who want to do the same. Nihonbashi Seller Workspace is the software we provide to the sellers in that program.
What the workspace does for Amazon sellers
With the seller's own authorization in Seller Central, the workspace works only with that seller's account:
Profit per item. Reads the seller's listings, prices, Amazon fees, inventory, orders and settlement reports, and combines them with the seller's purchase cost, international freight and U.S. import duty to show the profit of each item and each month.
FBA inbound shipments. Prepares inbound shipment plans, box contents and labels for the seller to review and confirm before anything is sent to Amazon.
Listing on existing catalog items. Looks up catalog items and creates or updates the seller's offers on them.
Pricing. Shows competitive prices and fee estimates, and updates the seller's own prices when the seller asks.
What it does not do
It does not access buyer names, addresses or other personal information of Amazon customers.
It never shows one seller's Amazon data to another seller, and does not combine data from several sellers.
It does not sell or rent Amazon data, and does not use it for advertising.
Authorization and revoking access
A seller connects the workspace by authorizing it in Seller Central. The seller can revoke access at any time from Seller Central (Settings > User Permissions > Manage Your Apps) or by contacting us. When access is revoked or the seller's contract ends, we delete that seller's Amazon data within 30 days.
Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or later).
Data is stored in data centers in Japan (Google Cloud and Supabase, Tokyo region) and encrypted at rest.
Each seller's authorization tokens are kept in Google Cloud Secret Manager, in a separate secret for each seller that only that seller's workspace can read.
Only a small number of administrators can access production systems, using individual accounts.
